Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the friendly face that creates memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your role is vital in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring food and beverage orders are accurately taken and efficiently served, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, culinary knowledge, and passion for food and drinks in a fast-paced, fine dining environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders to kitchen staff efficiently Upsell menu items including specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance guest experience and increase sales Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Manage sales transactions accurately, handle cash and credit card payments, and process receipts using POS systems Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards Foster guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is a plus Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation, wine pairings, spirits, and cocktail mixing preferred Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Food safety certification or understanding of sanitation practices required; food handling experience is essential Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transaction processing, and bill splitting Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial; hospitality background highly valued Join us to be part of a lively team where your enthusiasm makes every guest's visit extraordinary!
