Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling, credit card processing, and upselling beverages or menu items to enhance guest satisfaction Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a safe and inviting environment Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage seating arrangements and optimize guest flow Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine, spirits, cocktails, and menu items to elevate the guest experience Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or casual settings Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales processing Strong knowledge of beverage service, including spirits, wine, cocktails, and upselling techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience with reservation management tools like OpenTable is a plus Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your passion for hospitality with your expertise in food and beverage service.
