Led by Bravo Top Chef alum Jamie Lynch and Chef Adam Hodgson, Emma Fitzpatrick our menu celebrates hyper-local, sustainable ingredients through a seasonal raw and roast program featuring chilled and charcoal-roasted preparations, handmade pastas, fresh produce, and thoughtfully sourced proteins — something genuinely delicious for every guest at the table. About the Role A great server assistant is the backbone of a great dining experience. You're the reason tables feel taken care of, water glasses stay full, and the rhythm of service holds together even on the busiest nights. We're looking for someone who takes pride in the details, moves with purpose, and genuinely enjoys being part of a team that's working toward something together. You don't need to have worked in fine dining before — but you do need to care about hospitality and show up ready to learn.
Compensation Training shifts:
$10/hr
Post-training:
$3.13/hr + tips (our FOH team consistently earns well above minimum through shared gratuity) What You'll Do Support the service team by maintaining table settings, clearing courses, and ensuring a clean and polished dining room throughout service Refill water, replenish bread, and respond to guest needs proactively and graciously Assist with running food from the kitchen to the table accurately and efficiently Communicate clearly with servers and the FOH team to keep service flowing Help with opening and closing sidework and general dining room readiness Represent Tempest's standards for hospitality, cleanliness, and attention to detail at every shift What We're Looking For Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate A genuine enjoyment of working with people and being part of a team Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment A positive, professional attitude and a willingness to learn Physical stamina — this role is on your feet and moving throughout the shift Dependability and a team-first mentality Tempest is a place where people who care about hospitality can build real skills and grow within a team that supports them.
