Job Description

Duties:
  • Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel
  • Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
  • Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests
  • Take and manage reservations over the phone or in person
  • Answer phone calls and provide information about the establishment
  • Assist with seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space
  • Monitor dining areas to ensure cleanliness and proper set-up
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and special events
Skills:
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Strong guest relations skills with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues
