Part-Time Daytime Server - Hopsewee Plantation Hopsewee Plantation is seeking two dependable, friendly servers for our historic property and River Oak Cottage Tearoom near Georgetown, South Carolina. This is primarily a daytime position serving lunch and afternoon tea to visitors, tour groups, and local guests. Occasional private events may also be available. Compensation We guarantee minimum earnings of $15 per hour, including wages and tips. Tips are distributed according to Hopsewee's tip-sharing policy, which includes a 15% tip-out to eligible non-server Tearoom staff. Servers may earn more than the guaranteed minimum. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service Take food and beverage orders accurately Enter orders and process payments using the Square POS system Serve meals, desserts, tea, wine, and other beverages Set, clear, clean, and reset tables Help prepare the dining room before service and complete closing duties Assist coworkers as needed during busy periods Follow food-safety and cleanliness procedures What We Are Looking For Dependable and punctual Friendly and comfortable working with the public Able to remain calm and organized during busy service Willing to help wherever needed Able to stand, walk, carry trays, and lift approximately 25 pounds Restaurant experience is helpful, but we will train the right person Reliable transportation is essential because Hopsewee is not accessible by public transportation Benefits Primarily daytime hours Flexible part-time scheduling Paid training Employee meal while working Unique and beautiful historic setting Please submit a résumé or a brief description of your work experience and availability.
