Job Description
Sage Valley is a private golf club with a national and international membership offering world class amenities, southern hospitality, and golf 'as it should be.' Sage Valley considers our employees to be our greatest asset and fosters a close-knit family environment, encouraging growth, learning, and development. Sage Valley is hiring for our upcoming season. We have openings for full- and part-time servers, food runners, setup crew, and stockers. Job summary The server & service support team are responsible for all aspects of the dining experience in a variety of different venues & settings for our Members & their guests. They are expected to follow excellent high end service procedures, focusing on detail, quality presentation, and customer service. Sage Valley servers and service support team members will have an excellent attitude and the willingness to go above and beyond in order to ensure that our members and guests are "raving fans." Our service staff will serve food and beverages with expertise and gracious hospitality. Essential Functions 1. Performing job duties in accordance with Sage Valley, Federal, State, local health department, and food safety & sanitation guidelines. 2. Ability to potentially work in a variety of other different service environments and settings as staffing needs demand, to include (but not limited to) outdoor events, extreme heat or cold, large banquets, room service, etc. 3. Ability to effectively operate our POS system to transmit orders. 4. Ability to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis. 5. Must be able to reach, bend, lift, and carry food trays and other objects. 6. Must be able to safely use and work around cleaning chemicals. •The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned to the employee at the supervisor's discretion. The scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. Qualifications and Education Requirements Ability to read & write. Wine, cocktail, and some culinary knowledge 1+ year experience as server, preferably in high-end setting
