Job Summary Pomegranate on Main is looking for a friendly and energetic Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable dining experiences through excellent customer service and attention to detail. Your role is essential in ensuring guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and satisfied from their first sip to their last bite. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, possesses strong communication skills, and enjoys working in a lively environment where teamwork and enthusiasm are valued. Duties Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions. Take accurate food and beverage orders using our POS system, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards, including cocktail and beverage service with spirits knowledge. Process sales transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card payments. Upsell menu items such as wines, cocktails, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is essential. Strong knowledge of beverage service, spirits, wine, and cocktail preparation is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation standards is desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
