Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Food Runner, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create an exceptional dining experience for our members. In this vital role, you will serve as the bridge between the kitchen and the dining area, ensuring that food reaches our guests promptly, accurately, and with a smile. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a lively restaurant setting. Responsibilities Deliver freshly prepared food from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation and plating when needed, supporting kitchen staff in maintaining smooth operations. Clear and clean tables promptly after guests finish their meals, bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of food trays and supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques to prevent injury. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas by performing regular cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces and sanitizing stations. Support food safety protocols by properly handling food items and adhering to hygiene standards throughout service. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including food running or serving roles. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and proper sanitation procedures. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with team members and guests. Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or similar platforms for order accuracy. Experience with bussing, cleaning, and maintaining cleanliness in busy restaurant settings. Knowledge of banquet or catering service is a plus but not required. Demonstrated hospitality skills with a focus on guest services and in-person customer interaction. Pay:
From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 20.0 per week
