Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations, and seat guests promptly to ensure a smooth flow of seating arrangements. Maintain accurate restaurant reservation management using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Assist servers by delivering food quickly and accurately from the kitchen to tables as a Food Runner, ensuring guest satisfaction. Support servers by taking orders, processing payments through POS systems, and providing attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience. Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, handle reservation inquiries, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently. Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas. Organize tables and dining areas to maximize efficiency and guest comfort while managing multiple responsibilities with excellent organizational skills. Experience Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong communication skills are vital for interacting with guests, team members, and handling phone inquiries effectively. Basic math skills are necessary for processing payments accurately and managing guest checks. Experience with POS systems and restaurant table management software will help streamline service operations. A background in guest relations or hospitality enhances your ability to create positive guest experiences.
