Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and drinks. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions. Serve food and beverages confidently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating beverage service expertise. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in math calculations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food preparation meets quality standards and guest expectations. Provide exceptional guest service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering positive guest relations throughout their visit. Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for seamless order entry and transaction processing. Proven ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations within a food service environment. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods efficiently. Demonstrated sales skills with a focus on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue. Previous restaurant experience in fine dining or high-volume settings is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor that fosters guest loyalty. Basic math proficiency for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
