20 Hotel Banquet Server The Marriott Myrtle Beach Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes is looking for responsible and motivated service professionals to join its banquet team. This is aPART TIME
position. Hours vary based of events. Weekends are a must. As a Banquet Server, you would be responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to guests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Responsibilities Include but not limited to:- Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area.
- Relay banquet requests to the appropriate person.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices.
- Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations.
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the appropriate person.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns.
- Present in professional appearance and mannerisms.
