Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservation bookings using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness to uphold food safety standards. Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, reservations, and menu inquiries while practicing excellent phone etiquette. Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience from start to finish. Support the host team in maintaining organized waiting lists and communicating effectively with guests regarding their seating status. Utilize POS systems efficiently for order entry and billing when needed, demonstrating strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred; however, enthusiastic newcomers with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply. Food service experience is advantageous for understanding restaurant operations and guest expectations. Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in this role. Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting with guests, team members, and management effectively.
