Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Server and become the face of exceptional hospitality! In this lively role, you'll deliver memorable dining experiences by providing attentive, friendly service and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued. Your energy and enthusiasm will help create a vibrant atmosphere where guests want to return again and again. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or upselling specials, you'll play a key part in making every guest's visit extraordinary. This paid position offers opportunities to develop your skills in food and beverage service while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages while maintaining proper drink service etiquette and following all responsible and safe alcohol service practices Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with accuracy Upsell menu items, daily specials, and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food delivery as needed to ensure timely service and a smooth flow during busy hours Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred; casual full-service dining and/or lounge/nightclub experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales transactions preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs effectively Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beverage service techniques to elevate guest experiences Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing tabs seamlessly Experience with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations in the food industry Alcohol service certification required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire Join us if you're passionate about hospitality!
