Job Brief We are looking for friendly and attentive counter attendants to greet customers, take orders, and assist with various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Your role will be crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction by providing excellent service, handling transactions, and keeping the space clean and organized. As a small operation, our counter attendants must be comfortable multitasking, including general kitchen cleaning and ingredient prepping when needed. Responsibilities Greeting customers as they arrive and making them feel welcome Answering questions about the menu Taking and accurately processing customer orders Communicating food and drink orders to the kitchen staff Assembling and packaging takeaway orders Presenting customers with the bill and processing payments Maintaining cleanliness standards by keeping the counters, tableware, and utensils clean Box stamping and folding Replenishing food supplies as needed Complying with company policies Requirements & Skills Excellent listening and communication skills A positive attitude and a polite, friendly demeanor Ability to work with POS systems Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices Good time-management skills Team-oriented mindset Training Wait staff will participate in a hands-on training program to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
