Duties Greet customers warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit Operate POS systems such as Square to process orders, payments, and refunds swiftly and accurately Prepare simple food items or assist in food preparation to ensure timely service during busy hours Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling, giving correct change, and balancing registers at shift end Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations Support kitchen staff with basic food handling tasks when needed to ensure efficient service flow Skills Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments Familiarity with POS systems Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently Experience with serving, bussing tables, or working in a café or retail grocery store is a plus Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude that fosters collaboration Join us to be part of an energetic team where your contributions make a real difference!
