You will handle food and beverage orders with precision, ensure timely delivery, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items including wine and spirits options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude, upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including handling cash handling procedures and sales transaction processing. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols. Assist with food preparation or plating when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Build positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Food safety certification and understanding of sanitation standards required; food handling experience preferred. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and guest-focused attitude. Ability to process cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail in math calculations related to bills and tips.
