Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and ensuring guest satisfaction Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments efficiently, including sales transaction processing and handling cash handling responsibilities Upsell menu items, wine pairings, cocktails, and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling procedures in accordance with food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Skills Extensive experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Proven ability in food service roles with a focus on fine dining or high-volume environments Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or bussing is highly valued Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive guest experience Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest's visit memorable!
