Lifespace Communities is seeking a Culinary Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience for seniors in our life plan community. In this resident-first role, you will warmly greet and seat residents, present menus, and accurately take and serve food and beverage orders while honoring special diets and safety standards. You'll maintain clean, welcoming dining spaces, communicate with culinary and care teams, and support a compassionate, respectful environment focused on enhancing each resident's quality of life and overall well-being. Responsibilities Greet and seat residents and guests courteously in the dining room Present menus and explain daily specials and dietary options Accurately take and transmit food and beverage orders Serve meals and beverages promptly and at proper temperatures Follow special diets, portion sizes, and safety guidelines Maintain clean, organized tables, stations, and dining areas Collaborate with culinary and care teams to support resident needs Handle resident requests, feedback, and concerns professionally Follow sanitation, infection control, and safety procedures Assist with setup, breakdown, and restocking of dining areas Required Skills Table service and hospitality Point-of-sale (POS) system use Food safety and sanitation Knowledge of special diets and nutrition basics Order taking and accuracy Dining room setup and breakdown Customer and resident service Basic cash handling or check signing procedures Team communication in healthcare or hospitality settings Infection control awareness
