Cody's Steaks & BBQ has been serving great food and friendly service to the Bryan-College Station community since 2001. We're a locally owned restaurant known for our mesquite-grilled steaks, Texas BBQ, homemade sides, and welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for friendly, dependable, hardworking people to join our team as Servers/Cashiers . If you enjoy working with people, take pride in providing great service, and want to be part of a team where everyone works together to take care of our guests, we'd love to meet you! Duties Greeting guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude Taking dine-in and to-go orders accurately while providing friendly, efficient service Operating the cash register and handling cash and credit-card transactions Learning our menu and helping guests make selections Providing friendly, attentive customer service Delivering orders and ensuring guest satisfaction Working closely with the kitchen and other team members to keep service running smoothly Keeping dining areas clean, organized, and welcoming Helping your teammates wherever needed during busy periods Skills Dependable and committed to showing up ready to work Friendly and comfortable talking with customers in person and over the phone Positive and team-oriented Able to stay calm and productive during busy periods Comfortable handling money and using a cash register Able to multitask and pay attention to details Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Restaurant, fast-food, grocery, retail, cashier, or customer-service experience is a plus.
