Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, including sales transactions and tips using POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables promptly Assist with food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Build strong guest relations through excellent customer service, guest engagement, and attentive listening Qualifications Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable; basic math skills required for processing transactions Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest loyalty Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while maintaining professionalism under pressure Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards preferred; experience with food handling is advantageous Hospitality background with experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties or cashiering is highly desirable Join us in creating vibrant dining experiences where guests feel valued from the moment they walk in!
