Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have a strong understanding of the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food and drinks with professionalism and care. Duties Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and explaining daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards. Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing recommendations as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that arise during service. Uphold food safety standards by following proper sanitation practices throughout the restaurant. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required. Knowledge of culinary terminology and food safety practices is essential. Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with sales techniques to enhance guest experiences and promote menu items. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
