Responsibilities Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area for guests. Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to tables accurately and swiftly. Maintain cleanliness in all areas, including clearing tables, cleaning surfaces, and properly handling food safety and hygiene standards. Help with food preparation and setup in the kitchen as needed, following proper food handling procedures. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, dishes, or equipment using safe lifting practices to prevent injury. Support in maintaining restaurant cleanliness through sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold health standards. Communicate effectively with team members using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth service flow. Requirements Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with safe lifting practices. Strong communication skills and excellent in-person customer service abilities to create welcoming guest interactions. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant operations including bussing, serving, and food running enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Prior banquet experience or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
