Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Host/Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch service throughout their visit. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover. Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials and promotions. Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system, preferably Aloha POS. Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their meal. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist in training new staff members on guest services and restaurant procedures. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with effective phone etiquette. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus. A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
