We are looking for a Server to work in our family-owned full-service restaurant. We guarantee at least $15/per hour including tips. You'll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers' experiences. Primary Food Server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus, taking orders, and serving food and beverages. We are looking for a polite and friendly attitude, and most importantly, a high level of customer service skills. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers. We will provide training. Our lunch shifts are from 10am to 2pm or 10pm to 3pm and dinner shifts from 3pm to close or 4pm to close. We are a BYOB restaurant since we are located across from a school, so we close at 8pm Sunday through Thursday and 8:30pm on Friday and Saturday. Our Servers are usually at work until about 30 minutes after closing, although this can vary depending number of guests at the end of the day and closing duties. Responsibilities Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order Attend to customers upon entrance Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages Take and serve orders Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen staff Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude Issue bills and accept payment Skills Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience preferred, but will train Attention to cleanliness and safety Patience and customer-oriented approach Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude Responsible and trustworthy
