As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal and address any concerns promptly Process payments accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including bussing tables Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during all aspects of service Assist with hosting duties as needed, ensuring smooth guest flow in the restaurant Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations Experience with Toast POS or similar systems is preferred Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation is a plus Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently Sales skills with an ability to upsell menu items effectively Full Service dining experience is required Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential TABC and Food Handler training programs required Previous restaurant experience in various roles (serving, bussing, host/host) is beneficial Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling A background in hospitality or the food industry will be considered an asset Join our team as a Server where your passion for food service and commitment to guest satisfaction will shine!
