Job Overview Charlie's Tavern & Kitchen is about to open in Desoto this Saturday!! We are looking for 3 restaurant servers to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, your enthusiasm and dedication will create memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your ability to manage multiple tables with efficiency and grace will contribute to a lively, upscale dining environment. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, utilizing systems like Shift 4. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system, Shift 4, ensuring all special requests are noted. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of tables, bussing dishes promptly, and supporting kitchen staff with food handling and preparation when needed. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout the dining experience. Qualifications Previous restaurant experience with a strong background in food service or hospitality environments. Proficiency in POS systems. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques.
