Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Coordinate between the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation Serve beverages including spirits and cocktails with proper drink service techniques; handle cash and credit card transactions accurately Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and maintaining a clean dining environment in compliance with sanitation standards Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Experience Previous experience in food service roles such as server, host/hostess, or expo within fast-paced or fine dining environments is preferred Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS or is highly desirable Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Experience working in hospitality settings that emphasize food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices Ability to adapt quickly in a lively environment such as nightclubs or high-volume restaurants is a plus Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
