We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Expo/Food Runner to join our team.

Duties:

Swift Delivery :

Transporting trays or plates to the correct table and seat number quickly while food is hot.

Guest Presentation :

Describing each dish to the guest upon arrival (sometimes called a "drop phrase") and answering basic menu questions.

Table Maintenance :

Assisting with refilling water, providing extra napkins or condiments, and clearing used dishes (pre-bussing).

Station Upkeep :

Keeping the expo line and runner stations clean, stocked with supplies like lemons or sauces, and organized throughout the shift

Quality Control :

Inspecting plates for correct temperature, portion sizes, and overall cleanliness.

Presentation :

Adding final touches such as garnishes, sauces, or wiping smudges off plate rims.

Order Accuracy :

Verifying that each dish matches the ticket, including specific modifications or allergy requests.

Ticket Coordination :

Organizing incoming orders so that an entire table's food is finished and delivered at the same time.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred
• Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Cake POS, is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
