Job Description

Overview Food Runner The Food Runner is responsible for transporting food orders quickly and accurately from teh restaurant kitchen to the correct guest tables while supporting front-of-the house staff.
Responsibilities Core Physical Demands Standing and Walking:
You must stand and walk on hard surfaces for 6 to 8 hours straight.
Lifting and Carrying:
You need to lift and carry heavy trays, plates, or bins weighing between 25 and 50 pounds.
Balance and Coordination:
You must balance heavy loads on trays or use arm service while moving quickly through crowded dining rooms.
Bending and Reaching:
The job requires frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling to pick up or set down food items.
Fast Pace:
You have to move quickly between the hot kitchen and guest tables during peak rush hours. Tipped Position This position does not earn tips
