In this dynamic role, you'll support the front-of-house team by ensuring tables are cleared promptly, dishes are delivered efficiently, and the overall atmosphere remains lively and welcoming. Your enthusiasm and quick responsiveness will help create memorable moments for our guests while maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting environment. Responsibilities Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a steady flow of seating and service. Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic plating or garnishing under supervision. Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding surfaces regularly. Support the serving staff by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and handling guest requests with professionalism. Follow food safety protocols during handling, serving, and clearing dishes to ensure health standards are upheld. Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when assisting with order taking or processing payments. Skills Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/hostess, server, or banquet staff is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing guest checks accurately. Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and proper dishwashing techniques. Experience with beverage preparation or coffee service is a plus. Familiarity with restaurant technology systems like OpenTable or Aloha POS enhances efficiency in guest service tasks.
