We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Server to join our team. As a Server at Tokyo Express, you will be one of the main faces of our restaurant and play an important role in creating a great experience for our customers. You will greet guests, take orders accurately, serve food and beverages, process payments, keep the dining area clean, and help customers with questions about our menu. We're looking for someone who is friendly, attentive, able to multitask, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner Take customer orders accurately Serve food and beverages promptly Answer questions and make menu recommendations Check on guests throughout their meal Process cash and credit card payments accurately Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas Clean and reset tables between customers Assist with takeout and online orders when needed Restock front-of-house supplies Communicate effectively with kitchen and other team members Handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully Complete opening and closing duties as assigned Follow restaurant sanitation and food safety procedures Help teammates during busy periods Qualifications Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right person Friendly and customer-focused attitude Dependable and punctual Strong communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system Ability to work well under pressure during busy periods Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Willingness to help other team members when needed Availability for some evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays preferred Schedule Tokyo Express Greenville is open Monday through Saturday, 10:00 AM-9:00 PM and closed Sundays. Both part-time and full-time hours may be available depending on experience, availability, and restaurant needs.
