Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar team Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in sales transaction processing and cash handling Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with bussing tables, resetting for new guests, and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods Skills Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or bars Strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order entry and sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and calculating bills or tips Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous experience with OpenTable or similar reservation management tools is a plus Embark on a rewarding career where your passion for hospitality shines!
