Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash register operations and retail sales transactions. Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards and food safety compliance are met at all times. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and kitchen equipment operation standards. Serve food and beverages promptly while providing excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries professionally. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as order management, cashiering, and operating kitchen equipment seamlessly. Skills Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food industry knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for processing orders and transactions. Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without compromising service quality. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests. Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing food costs effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper handling of kitchen equipment. Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is a plus for understanding diverse customer needs.
