In this role, you will be the face of our sushi dining experience, delivering exceptional guest service while showcasing your knowledge of Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation. Your enthusiasm for food and hospitality will help create memorable moments for our guests, ensuring they enjoy a seamless and delightful dining experience from start to finish. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and a love for the fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise entry Present sushi dishes with professionalism, explaining menu items and making recommendations through upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times in accordance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold quality standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately during cashiering transactions, including open and close procedures using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant or nightclub setting Experience Previous restaurant experience with a focus on food service or hospitality is highly preferred Experience working as a server in fine dining or nightclub environments enhances your ability to handle high-volume settings gracefully Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing and cashiering Knowledge of sushi preparation, food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is a strong advantage Demonstrated skills in upselling, sales techniques, and guest services contribute to creating memorable dining experiences Ability to manage time effectively in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail and excellent customer relations Basic math skills for cash handling transactions and order calculations are required Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional sushi experiences!
