Waitress / Server El Charro Authentic Mexican Food is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking waitress/server to join our team. This role is vital in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Job Summary As a waitress/server at El Charro, you will be responsible for taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have previous food service experience, including fine dining and cocktail service, and possess strong communication skills. You will process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handle cash transactions with basic math skills, and assist with various duties to support smooth restaurant operations. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and take their food and drink orders efficiently Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality Prepare aguas frescas and assist in prepping and portioning salsas Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems Handle cash transactions with basic math skills Assist with packaging and checking to-go orders Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, server stations, and overall restaurant environment Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service Support opening and closing duties as required Provide excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction Assist with cocktail preparation and beverage service when necessary Qualifications Previous food service experience, including fine dining preferred Experience with POS systems and sales transaction processing Ability to process cash transactions accurately using basic math skills Cocktail experience is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Dependability, friendliness, and a positive attitude Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends Join our team at El Charro Authentic Mexican Food if you are passionate about delivering exceptional service in a lively dining setting.
