Supervisor Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Waiter/Waitress to join our team at our brunch-style restaurant and bakery café. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, take accurate orders, serve food and beverages efficiently, and ensure a welcoming and clean dining environment. No prior experience is required—we are happy to train the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly and present menus Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems Serve bakery items, pastries, brunch dishes, and beverages in a timely manner Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients Make product recommendations, especially on baked goods and drinks Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and maintained throughout service Assist with refilling drinks, clearing plates, and processing payments Communicate any customer concerns to the manager on duty Help with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking

Requirements:

Excellent communication and customer service skills Friendly, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Available to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Willingness to learn and follow company procedures and standards Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene (training provided) Prior experience in a café, brunch spot, or bakery setting Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
