In this role, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that food is delivered promptly, accurately, and with exceptional presentation. Duties Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery and proper presentation Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing to meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, including food handling areas and utensils Follow food safety sanitizing procedures consistently to uphold hygiene standards Handle manual tasks such as weight handling in the workplace, moving supplies or equipment as required Operate kitchen equipment carefully when assisting with food prep or service support Support servers by processing cash transactions accurately at the POS (Point of Sale) systems when necessary Ensure all food is handled in accordance with food safety management practices and sanitation protocols Assist with cleaning duties, including clearing tables, wiping down surfaces, and maintaining overall restaurant cleanliness Collaborate with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Skills Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitizing procedures Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor in person-to-person interactions Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing orders accurately Knowledge of wine pairing and hospitality standards is a plus Experience with POS systems for processing payments confidently Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy trays or supplies, and perform manual handling tasks safely Familiarity with catering services or food industry standards enhances performance in this role Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as a Food Runner and be part of a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
