Job Description

LEAD BEVERAGE SERVER
Hourly Position:
$16.11/HR Must be flexible to work day/swing/overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
PURPOSE :
Under the direction of the Beverage Supervisor, the Lead Beverage Server will add a layer of accountability, support, and knowledge to the Team by actively training and mentoring Beverage Team Members in the Naskila Casino guest service standards, standard operating procedures, safety, and sanitation expectations while ensuring ultimate guest services is obtained.
SUPERVISORY SCOPE
: This position directly supervises: Beverage Server
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
: Ability to answer and train Beverage Team Members on the standard operating procedures of beverage service. Train Beverage Servers on the guest service expectations, safety procedures, and proper handling of beverages. Answer guest concerns and resolve guest issues efficiently in the absence of the Food and Beverage Supervisor. Assist the Beverage Supervisor with floor assignments for the beverage servers. Provides Beverage service to players while simultaneously ensuring beverage quality, service, and cleanliness standards throughout shifts. Follows and achieves the Naskila Casino Mission Statement and the Food and Beverage Mission Statement. Exhibits leadership for the entire staff. Puts guest service as the first priority of the department and actions of the staff with the goal of creating personalized guest service experience leading gaming players to return to the property. Works as a member of the service team to provide a seamless experience for guests. Capable of working in a safe and clean manner and reports all unsafe conditions immediately to Supervisor or takes personal responsibility if supervisor is not immediately available. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
:
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma/GED or combination of education and experience. Minimum of one (1) year experience as a beverage server or (2) a minimum of two years of experience in FOH Food & Beverage operations.
Food Handlers/ServSafe Certification Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrate ability to establish rapport and effectively relate to Guests and Team Members. Ability to lead by setting a good example. Excellent communication skills.

Education and Experience :
Minimum 1-year Lead or Supervisor experience in restaurants or bars with high volume.
REQUIRED TRAINING
: New Team Member Orientation Team Member Policy Handbook Department Policy Handbook Guest Service Standards Any position related training deemed necessary by Department Manager
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
: Must possess sensitivity to the Native American culture. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License. Must comply with all Naskila Casino Policies. Must successfully complete an Introductory Period. Must be able to communicate and interact with Guests, fellow Team Members, and Management in a professional and courteous manner. Must follow all Safety Rules and Regulations. Must adhere to Dress Code and Appearance Policies. Must maintain and wear uniform provided by Naskila Casino, if applicable. Practice good personal hygiene. Must be willing to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as deemed necessary by the Department Manager.
