WAITER/WAITRESS

to join our team. This role is

PART-TIME

. Given our current league schedules, we are needing a server for a few hrs each on Thursday evening and Sunday afternoon/evening, and occasionally on Saturdays when we have special events. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Greet customers, learn preferences of regulars, answer questions, take drink/food orders, recommend/upsell items, and serve drink/food orders Use the POS system to maintain tabs, cash sales, and track pool table assignments Check IDs to ensure customers are of legal age if purchasing alcohol and for minors during late hours Handle payment transactions, ensuring charges are accurate, and returning correct change to customers Monitor and regulate customers for appropriate levels of alcohol consumption Follow all food safety and quality regulations Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and other cleanup tasks as needed Replenish stock for Bartender as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 18 yrs of age Have and maintain required certifications (TABC & Tx Food Handler) Must be available for the shifts noted above Have a neat appearance and an engaging, friendly attitude Be efficient, observant, mature, and able to work with and serve various customer's personalities Have strong task and time management skills, basic math and computer skills Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Be able to pass a background check, free of any theft, assault, battery, or other violent crime convictions
