Job Summary:
As a Server at our establishment, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their visit. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering top-notch service.Duties:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting menu items
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve meals and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to presentation standards
- Provide recommendations on menu items and specials, showcasing knowledge of fine dining options
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests
- Follow food safety protocols to uphold quality standards and ensure customer well-being
- Utilize sales techniques to upsell menu items and promote specials effectively.
Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is required Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and order processing
- Understanding of food safety practices to maintain a hygienic environment
- Proficiency in time management to deliver efficient service during peak hours
