Responsibilities Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring all tables, linens, glassware, and utensils are perfectly arranged. Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their seats with professionalism and enthusiasm. Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Assist with food handling, portioning, and presentation to uphold food safety standards. Clear tables promptly after service, bussing dishes and resetting for the next course or event segment. Support bartenders with beverage service, including wine pouring, drink mixing, and maintaining bar station cleanliness. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special guest requests or dietary needs. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or catering environment is highly preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food handling procedures, food safety regulations, and proper serving techniques. Experience with beverage service, including wine knowledge and drink presentation. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods, carry trays comfortably, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Basic math skills for handling payments or measuring ingredients accurately. Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances the guest experience.
