Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and information about daily specials. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction. Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as required. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations throughout the shift. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any issues that arise during service. Provide assistance to guests with inquiries or concerns, demonstrating excellent guest service skills. Skills Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations. Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating bills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with restaurant operations and hospitality standards is advantageous. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
