Duties Greet guests warmly as a host or hostess, managing reservations through OpenTable and seating arrangements efficiently.
Take and process customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including handling cash transactions and sales processing.
Serve food and beverages with professionalism, including cocktail and spirits service, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests; assist with food running to ensure timely delivery from kitchen to table.
Support kitchen staff by assisting with basic food preparation, food handling, and sanitation practices to uphold food safety standards.
Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all service areas, adhering to food industry regulations and safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining settings.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for efficient order processing.
Demonstrated ability in customer service roles with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail mixing, and beverage service enhances guest interactions.
Experience with food safety procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling is essential.
Prior host/hostess or bussing experience is a plus; culinary experience or kitchen work background is beneficial for supporting kitchen operations.
