Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, drinks, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Manage guest relations by addressing questions about menu items, dietary restrictions, and restaurant policies with clarity and courtesy. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems; process payments swiftly while maintaining proper cash handling procedures. Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling, and sanitation practices throughout your shift. Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas promptly to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues proactively. Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements for maximum guest comfort. Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially within fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs. Proven customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous for order processing and sales tracking. Experience in upselling techniques that enhance guest experience while increasing revenue. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently through strong time management skills during high-volume shifts. Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing are essential.
