Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, ensuring presentation standards are met Process sales transactions smoothly while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with basic math accuracy Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, including bussing tables and food handling procedures Assist with food preparation when needed and support kitchen staff to ensure timely service Demonstrate excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation practices to uphold health standards in food service environments Support team members with host/hostess duties or cashiering during busy periods to ensure seamless operations Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Experience in fine dining environments or high-volume restaurants is a plus Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with excellent time management skills Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and handling cash confidently Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences!
