Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate drink and food orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards Process cash and card transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales and cash handling Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales revenue Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar equipment, following sanitation guidelines Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables and supporting kitchen staff when needed Manage multiple tables or bar stations during busy hours with excellent time management skills Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Build rapport with guests to foster guest relations and encourage repeat visits Qualifications Previous experience in food service or beverage industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, cocktail recipes, and beverage service techniques Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and process sales efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods Basic math skills for calculating bills, tips, and change accurately Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Join us as a Bar Server where your enthusiasm for hospitality meets your expertise in beverage service.
