About the
Role:
As a Restaurant Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure that all customer needs are met promptly and efficiently. You will be the face of our restaurant, creating a welcoming atmosphere and fostering positive relationships with patrons. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in your designated area, contributing to the overall ambiance of the establishment. Ultimately, your efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the restaurant's reputation, making your role vital to our success.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems. Knowledge of food and beverage pairings. Certification in food safety or responsible alcohol service. Bilingual abilities to communicate with a diverse clientele. Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurants.

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve food and drinks to customers, ensuring timely delivery. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during their dining experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit. Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity. Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. Frequently required to talk or hear. Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 25 pounds.
Skills:
The required skills for this position, such as strong communication and interpersonal abilities, will be utilized daily as you interact with guests and collaborate with kitchen staff. Your customer service skills will be essential in creating a positive dining experience, addressing any concerns, and ensuring satisfaction. Time management and multitasking skills will help you efficiently manage orders and serve multiple tables simultaneously. Preferred skills, like knowledge of food pairings, will enhance your ability to make recommendations to guests, elevating their experience. Overall, both required and preferred skills will contribute to a seamless service flow and a welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant.
