Job Description

Part-Time Paint Waiter/Waitress Job Description As a sales associate in our studio, you are responsible for greeting customers at the door and interacting with them as they complete their pottery, clay, or glass projects. You may be asked to host parties and teach or assist with workshops and camps. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Answers the telephone and records messages Capable of performing sales transactions Has knowledge of all products and services that are sold in the studio Performing opening and closing procedures Maintains cleanliness of the studio Checks product stock and replenishes as needed Assists with studio maintenance Represents the studio in a friendly, yet professional manner
Other Requirements:
Adheres to Pickles & Pottery policies as defined in handbook Ability to work as scheduled, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift and move 35 pounds Ability to stoop, bend, lift and climb so as to stock and retrieve merchandise from shelving units throughout the day Straightens, fronts and faces merchandise Cleans restrooms, associate area, and kiln room Ensures front entrance, sidewalk and parking lot are clean, clear and accessible (e.g., sweeps, shovels, removes trash) Vacuums/sweeps, mops/buffs floor Replaces light bulbs Disposes of trash as per back door policy Any other tasks as assigned
Experience:
