Job Description
Casa Bar and Grill is a full-service Kosher fine-dining restaurant committed to thoughtful hospitality, exceptional service, and a dining experience built around genuine attention to detail.
We are seeking an experienced Lieutenant to join our front-of-house team. For recruiting purposes, this position is our Server Assistant / Food Runner role and is an integral part of our dining room service team.
The Lieutenant is the connection between the kitchen and dining room, supporting our servers while helping maintain the pace, polish, and hospitality that define a fine-dining experience.
The RoleThis is a hands-on service position for someone who understands that excellent hospitality is a team effort.
You will:
Run food from the kitchen with accuracy, urgency, and proper presentation.
Assist servers throughout service and anticipate their needs.
Maintain, clear, and reset tables to exacting fine-dining standards.
Keep dining room service stations clean, stocked, organized, and ready for service.
Polish and maintain glassware, silverware, and other service items.
Assist with opening, closing, and ongoing side work.
Maintain the overall cleanliness and presentation of the dining room.
Communicate closely with servers, management, and the kitchen.
Learn and confidently speak to an intricate menu and its service standards.
Help ensure that every guest receives a seamless, warm, and professional experience.
Step in wherever the team needs support.
Our Ideal CandidateWe are looking for an experienced hospitality professional who already understands the pace and expectations of fine dining.
Previous busser/server assistant experience required.
Previous food runner experience required.
Must be 18+.Current Texas Food Handler Certification required.
Current T.A.B.C. Certification required.
Comfortable learning an intricate and detailed menu.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Strong attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Calm, composed, and gracious under pressure.
Able to stand and work actively throughout a service.
Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Reliable and punctual.
Available for approximately 30 35 hours per week, primarily evenings.
Friday and Saturday off.

CompensationAn hourly wage + participation in the restaurant's tip pool according to a set tip-pool scale.
