Your enthusiasm and professionalism will ensure guests feel welcomed, valued, and eager to return. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide prompt seating assistance as needed. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Process sales transactions accurately, handling cash, credit card payments, and tips with professionalism. Upsell menu items by recommending specials, wine pairings, or signature cocktails to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols. Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure a memorable experience. Requirements Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred. Knowledge of Toast POS systems. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Experience with beverage service including cocktails, wine knowledge, spirits expertise, and drink presentation. Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment.
